Visiting Con Dao, a wild world of nature

Travelling to Con Dao Island is now very easy. Tourists can go there by air or sea. There are three flights from the mainland to the island a week. It costs each tourist VND 1.2 million for a return ticket.

If tourists have more free time and want to save money, they can go on a ship that sets out at Vung Tau city. A ticket is priced at VND 50,000.

Con Dao is still a wild island with nearly 20 beautiful beaches, particularly Dam Trau, Hang Duong and Phi Yen.

This period of time coincides with the breeding season of sea tortoises. During the tour, tourists have a chance to see them giving eggs at the natural reserve on the Bay Canh islet.

Apart from tortoises, tourists can also meet dolphins or dugong, the strange and precious sea bull.

If tourists take the diving tour, they can view coral reefs or go fishing on the Hon Tai islet.

This area has 16 small and big islands, the biggest is Con Son. Canoes will take tourists to call at every island.

Travelling to Con Dao, tourist guides will tell tourists the story about Miss Vo Thi Sau and a heroic generation of Vietnam. Tourists can also drop over Hang Duong cemetery.
